will be available --even on a Sunday morning when you suffer a broken tooth the night before --- you know you have found the right one. When you can trust that your treatment decisions are based on good, sound and sensible advice based on your personal needs, you have found the right one. I certainly found the right dentist in Dr.Ingber. As someone who has had a considerable amount of dental work and who works with the public, I understand the value of a healthy and attractive smile. I have been a patient of Dr. Porvaznik's for nearly 16 years. Throughout this time, my profession has taken me many places, but whenever possible, I would make the trip "home" to the dentist I could trust. Now, I am delighted to have him only one hour away. I have certainly presented him with my fair share of dental challenges, only to be greeted by a smile, a kind word and exceptional treatment. He is the most caring and gentle dentist I have met. I came to
Dr. Ingber in the winter of 2003. It started with a simple call to
his office in reference to Dental Implants. At the time I was
wearing an upper denture and was very uncomfortable with that.
I would hate going places as I had the fear that my denture would
come loose. I had started a implant procedure with another Dentist
in the Northern VA area, but was very discouraged as he was not
listening to I called
Dr. Ingber’s office & was very surprised that he actually returned
my call within an hour. I explained over the phone exactly
what I was looking for & he told immediately, "No Problem." I met
with Dr. Ingber 2 days later & after taking x-rays he told me
exactly what he could do for me. The next step was the "hard" one as
I was given the price of this procedure. WOW!!!! He
tailor-made a situation for me in regards to not going broke &
receiving the the implants at the same time. Next step was the
operation - wow, talk about being scared! I was met that
morning down in the lobby by Alex who works for Dr. Ingber, and
right away I was put at ease by Alex. Next I was greeted by the
entire staff Much to my
surprise, the pain afterwards was very I no longer
worry about my teeth at all & I always have people tell me how nice

One morning I had a terrible accident that left me with my two front teeth broken in half. I was hysterical from the pain but also because I had no idea what could be done for me. I didn’t know if I could ever have a normal looking smile again. I had only seen Dr. Ingber once as a new patient but I called him and asked him what I should do. He told me to come down to the office and he immediately went to work. As I had been that first time I went in, I felt comfortable and safe knowing I was in the hands of someone who is extremely capable and very caring. I was certainly not an easy patient that day but he was understanding, kind and compassionate. He listened to my
concerns and has spent many hours making sure that I am happy with
what I see. Our priorities are the same – producing a beautiful
smile. After spending many years with other dentists, I can now say I
have complete confidence in the skills of my doctor. Every subsequent
visit I’ve had to Dr. Ingber’s has been overwhelmingly positive. Now
I know one of the most traumatic experiences I’ve had thus far is
going to have a happy ending! Dr. Ingber and his staff are
responsible for that. I truly can’t say enough about all of them. |
| In addition to being an
outstanding dentist in every respect, Dr. Ingber completely cured me
of my phobia about having my teeth worked on. This was not a little phobia. One day my mouth was all full of hardware and a dental dam or two. Ken had been completely gentle, calm, and reassuring, but the leftover phobia from my pre-Dr. Ingber days got the better of me. I claimed I had to go to the bathroom and was halfway down the block--with my mouth full of all this stuff!--before my husband caught up with me and brought me back. This is a true story. Ask Ken. Then Ken got the idea to use hypnosis on me. I was game, and from the first time Ken hypnotized me, it revolutionized my time in his office. Now I feel perfectly calm, happy, and relaxed. There is absolutely no pain. In fact, we no longer have to use Novocain. I think Ken has done some pretty deep drilling while I was hypnotized, but to tell you the honest truth, all I feel is a little vibration, if anything. Hypnosis has worked far better on me than the Novocain ever did. It's really quite amazing. The fear completely vanished the very first time we used hypnosis. Now I simply look forward to going in for appointments and seeing my friends, and I always have an extremely positive and pleasant experience. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Ingber and his wonderful staff. Susie R. |
